Locally owned and operated, The Black Fork Bistro offers a unique but flavor filled menu. Their offerings include burgers, pizza and an array of appetizers and entrees.
Five Points is not fine dining but it is our go to for a quick burger or when we simply want ice cream. Family friendly, generous portions and affordable. Couldn’t ask for more.
Want a little sweet treat? Bent Spoons is the go to for cookies, cupcakes, brownies and more. This locally owned bake shop always satiates the sweet tooth.
North Main Cafe prepares coffee second only to ours. Breakfast or lunch, they provide everything from biscuits and gravy to deli sandwiches.
Don Leo’s Market in Danville is a go to for a quick sandwich, homemade baked goods and fresh local produce. While compact they have everything you’d want in a small space.

Malabar Farm provides a unique glimpse into a begotten era. Louis Bromfield’s farm is a place out of time with deep connections to Humphrey Bogard and Lauren Bacall.
Cinema fan? Shawshank Redemption lover? Visit the grounds where the movie was filmed over 30 years ago! Located in Mansfield; self guided tours are available.
Kingwood Center Gardens in Mansfield is a botanical experience, boasting trails, greenhouses and an array of seasonally kept gardens. Pack a lunch or eat at the cafe.
Tour, select and buy. Country Colors Greenhouse has a huge selection of house plants, perennials, annuals, herbs, shrubs and trees. We spend too much there every year!
The Blonde Robin Boutique specializes in cottage core apparel, home goods and beauty products, doubling as an espresso shop. Buy a dress, cookbook and morning coffee.
How We Play
Mohican State Park, managed by the State of Ohio Department of Natural Resources is a wonderful network of sights, trails and camping spots.
If you are in the area and looking for camping or recreation spots, look no further than Butler. This KOA is mere minutes away and offers a slough of recreational activities.
Do you love biking? With a massive network of well maintained, paved bike paths Richland B&O Trails offers just over 18 miles of trails with even more connected trails.
From May to August, Hiawatha Water Park in Mount Vernon offers a reprieve from the Summer heat with a large swim pool, slides, kid’s pool and water play area.
Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s Disc Golf Course while challenging, is not completely impossible. Enjoy a round while touring the beautiful campus.
